Thirteen years after an
arsonist burned All Saints Church in Stuart, the drum of a new dome is
lifted toward the roof as residents watch from nearby on Wednesday. A
man with a grudge against the Catholic Church torched the historic
Byzantine- style building in 1995, destroying hand-painted frescoes,
marble altars and a copper dome that reached 90 feet into the air. John

High school students stepped out of class across the street
from All Saints Church to watch as the drum of the dome was lifted.
Portions of the church constructed in 1908 have been restored.
